Portraits are a classical photography theme but it is not free of difficulty. A good portrait has to try to reflect the personality of the people portrayed; it has to try to reflect the personality of the portrayed person, and should be an attempt to capture an individual’s psychology. The photographer has to interact with the model until being able to envision his/her personality, so as to then transmit it to the photograph’s viewer. It is an interesting psychological exercise in the form of a trialogue between the model, the photographer and the viewer.
