A classic among classics, and one of the most frequent topics in painting and also in photography. It may seem a handful of objects arranged to be photographed with natural grace and thus obtain a natural stillness. Far from that, we find a composition, a combination of lights and shadows, a colourful and monochromatic play, and a message. Suddenly, we notice the viewer looking again and again at the still life of the photograph. The person’s attention has been drawn. It has fulfilled its purpose.
